Support cancer research

My Nan lost her fight with Cancer on the 17th October at the age of 70yrs (a day before her 71st birthday) and will be very much missed. Before her illness I supported Cancer research UK with a monthly donation.

I have since doubled my contribution and ask that you to consider whether you would like support the research into Cancer to find preventative solutions to this horrible thing that effects so many people and their families.

Cosmology for particle Physicists

I'm not a particle Physicist and these videos provided by CERN make me realise why that is. But I am still fascinated by the subject and do understand enough to make it worthwhile viewing. The video's include some insightful lectures by Sean Carroll, a contributor to cosmicvariance.com and generally well known cosmologist.
